This long term probability forecast is valid for the next six months. It shows the possible variations of the 2 meters temperature for that period. The accuracy is not very high, but it shows the tension (cooler than normal-normal-warmer than normal) according to the initial data given to that model and the climate average values for every location. The period for the initial data is written on the upper-right corner of the image.
Shadings are the highest probability of the three categories, with blue for Below Normal (cooler), red for Above Normal (warmer) and white for the Near Normal. |
